Rossi made a point of complimenting the dry Mich performance after his Assen win, so hopefully they have made some improvements with those.
The wets however, do seem way behind the rest of the field.

Michelin have been hit by the new tyre restriction rules running this year in MotoGP. Riders have limited quantities of dry weather tyres available over the GP weekend. What used to happen was that they would construct tyres to order mainly during the european rounds overnight over the course of the MotoGP weekend and the top riders would have a tyre compound/contruction altered as needed. New rules don't allow them to do this with dry tyres anymore, they can and do still do this with wet tyres as they are still unrestricted in numbers.
Essentially the rule was brought in to even things up for Bridgestone.
