What have I forgotten?

Right the senario is as follows......
Parked up car,
turned lights off,
switched stereo off,
ignition off,
got out,
press key fob to lock,
2 flashes from indicators
then a second or so later the horn beeped once....

Im puzzled its never done this before.
Im going to look like a total numpty now but only had the car a few weeks and loving it.
ps car is a 996tt

Check that the centre compartment between the front seats is shut properly and also the glovebox and bonnet and boot lids.They have sensors on and if they are not closed properly they warn you by sounding the horn.

Make sure all the doors are locking properly as well. I`m assuming you haven`t changed the stereo.

Took me a while to figure that one out
Even though I have the common problem of the broken hinge still beeps if not shut properly !
