M Schumacher test drives and Maserati

He's doing a decent run around the track, but he looks as though he's just on a pleasant weekend drive! Very smooth steering... even when the car goes arse-wide. I don't know how fast he was really driving, but he's impressively calm.

There was the old stat that Schumacher's heart rate rarely used to get much above resting during F1 races. Just total control over everything he's doing. I love these clips of racing drivers ragging road cars - very interesting to see the differences in movement, control and foresight between them and bungling fools like me.

Anyone catch the clip on ITV F1 at the weekend of Schumi taking Zidane for a few laps in an FXX? Mr Zidane looked a little worried
