Picked up my cerbera used, the "owners manual" seems only to be a service book, do tvr actually provide a full owners manual other than this?

If so, I must hunt one down!

Hum - various things called manuals occaisionally appear on Ebay and seem to fetch silly prices.

Anything that's shared around is mostly here: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/dave.hinns/

The biggest resource however is the other users on here. smile

Should contain everything you need to know about the car for the average owner that wants to know what the gadgets are and how they work. Should be about 70 small pages of bits and bobs of info. My favourite bit is that every few sentences it tells you that you should 'immediately stop driving and take it to your nearest dealer'.

Can I just say that if ever anyone gets their hands on a decent copy of the manual I'd be more than happy to rescan, PDF it and stick it up to benefit everyone.

It's just the few copies on ebay go for silly prices..

Dave

I have the full leather bound manual (issue 3) and don't mind scanning the pages. It contains 88 pages of user manual stuff plus pages for servicing stamps etc at the back. What resolution do they need to be scanned at to create reasonable pdfs.

Regards
Simon

Cheers Simon - I have mine scanned I just need to remove the car details page. I don't fancy my engine & Vin number all over the internet. That'll be up soon.

I was thinking about the original workshop manual as the original scan is a little dark or possibly more wiring diagrams as there's a few missing.

Dave - How much do they go for on average?

Here's an idea......

One of us buys the Manual next time it comes on Ebay, gets it properly photocopied, then sells a copy to each of the 'names' on the list for £(Ebay Price/No of names).

We generate a list of those who would be willing to spend a Max of £x for a properly done photocopy of the original. So if we get 20 names who comit to pay a max of £10, we can bid £100.

Worth pursuing???

DIsclaimerHypothetically of course, because as you know, it's illegal to copy and sell copyrighted documents.

I haven't seen one appear for about a year or so. I keep my eyes open.

Ditto.

Count me in.
We could also incorporate the equivalent parts numbers list at the back as an index.

I bought an original copy of the manual from a chap in Germany. Very nice it looked in the ebay advert as well. But it came as a poor photocopy, the scan was even worse, one you're all very familar with.

I would suggest not buying anything you don't lay your eyes on first.

I have a spare leather bound one. If someone nearby has the facility to copy to pdf they are welcome to borrow it.

I should have said, the spare belongs to the cerb I destroyed so it doesn't matter about any details on it.

Also, I just looked at my new one and it says it's a Cerbera 4.5L, any idea what that means?
