P Zero Rosso. Anyone any experience of these tyres? They are the choice of a local tyre fitter recommended to me by someone who I trust, but these tyres get some VERY mixed reviews.
Your opinions would be most gratefully recieved.

Had them on my 996 from new and very pleased with them.
A friend who was supplied with Conti contact 2 as original equipment is looking to change to Pirelli next time. This is partly through driving my car and partly due to them absolutely walking away with the Autocar tyre test.I think they made about 4 seconds a lap improvement on an M3 round a test track.

Got to admit I've just got a new set of P zeros and compared to teh bridgestones I've just had taken off they are not good.
They seems to have high speed jitters and less traction round the twisties.
Come back Bridgestones all if forgiven.

BTW I got a good quote from Micheldever tyres which I then got a local garage to match. (£531 all in - 2 off 265/35/18/zr and 2 off 225/40/18/zr)

Have you given them a chance to bed in yet? I just got a new pair of rear tyres of exactly the same type as the ones they replaced, but the handling and ride felt quite different for at least 100 miles.

If it takes about 100 miles or so to bed down then yes and they're still doing it. I'll have a look at the pressures on all four tyres sometime. I'm assuming the tyre place got the pressures right (I just know what people are going to say now - check em yourself ! and they're right).

The tread pattern looks v different on the Pirellis compared to the Bridgestones, seem slikeless in contact with the road... ?

Never known that to happen.

Quite. At Micheldever Tyres recently I got 31 psi one side, and 41 the other. Both should be 44. So I would check the pressures ASAP if I were you.
