Just thought that I would share with you all my pride & joy.

It's a standard 1999 Honda Integra Type R, in Milano Red.

I've owned this now for 9 months and I never get bored of driving it!!

No plans to mod it, I think it's such a great car standard (plus I can't afford it!!) Might replace some of the suspension bushes, the cars done 76k now, supposed to sharpen the car up. Other than that, just going to enjoy driving it.

Just took a look at your car mate, very nice CRX. What 2l turbo engine are you planning on putting in there?

I'm building a B20b block (forged, low compression etc) with either a B16 or ITR B18 V-TEC head and having a slightly larger turbo. Aiming for around 350hp.

Definately go for the poly bushes mate. I've got a full Energy Suspension kit on mine and the difference is amazing. They were cheaper than a full set of replacement Honda bushes too!! Make it abit of a stiffer ride with a bit more road noise but i find it's worth it for the handling difference.

Paul C 78 - You should get one, really seem to be coming down in price in the last few months (I'm not impressed!!!)

F-Attack & Pistuphead - Thanks, It really is in excellent condition for the age. Was only the 2nd Teg that I looked at, but was soooo much better than the 1st.

Realised when I was washing my car this morning, that I have bought it exactly five years ago today.

It's been a great 5 years, with no mechanical faults, only replacing the RTA, ARB & Droplink bushes due to wear & tear.

I bought her with 67k miles under her belt, here she is, now on 99k miles.

I have started to collect a few OEM parts to go onto the car, need to get a few more bits to do a full OEM suspension refresh. Also need 4 new tyres to replace the RE010's that I have at present, not too sure what to go for.

And here is a quick shot of my VX220 that I bought a few months ago to run along side the ITR, as I could never sell her. I'll have to get some pictures up of them together at some point, probably in about 5 years time knowing me LOL

Any comments welcome

That Integra looks awesome! And even more stunning now than it did when you bought it! It could perhaps do with the pea shooter exhaust being replaced though.

Has this ITR had a bump at the front at any time in it's life? Only reason I ask is the panel shut line looks like it has a bigger gap on one side of the bonnet/front bumper gap than it does on the other, which was the same as another 4-headlight ITR I looked at in the classifieds. Perhaps it's an optical illusion, but to me it seems like the kind of mistake Honda would not make.

Anyway, I will echo the comments above and say lose the peashooter exhaust, but then again if you've owned it for 5 years you probably don't care enough to change it, so just enjoy it. VTEC engines rock biggrin

how is the body? I'm considering one of these but I've heard horrible tales of rusting from inside out e.t.c

Fantastic example, love it

I see what Mastodon means about the bonnet shut line, it does look a little distorted on the offside, and is that a small patch of rust appearing at the front of the bonnet too?
