Hi Justin,

May come along but it will be a last minute thing. There's also the chance of a car run over the moors, not sure if it's the same day. Been doing 18 hour shifts to get our new training school open in Milton Keynes and it should be done by then so if we're free, we'll come along.

Any chance of some more details? Don't want to commit and not turn up.

Dear trader/exhibitor

Unfortunately when we had our inspection of the show ground on where the Cleethorpes Motorshow was to be held it was quite clear without even stepping inside the grounds that the grounds are just not usable! Our local council aren't at all bothered that we have put alot of time into organising the show (3 times) and this has really annoyed us. We were told we could still use the grounds but to try and use only the areas that were still grassed and to avoid parking cars on the 'muddy' bits, so therefore we have decided to not go ahead with the original grounds and use a new venue.

Over the last two days we have been frantically trying to sort out a new venue as this show just has to go ahead come what may! The venue is still close to the Cleethorpes seafront and is privately owned by a gentleman that wishes not to be mentioned.

This venue is very important to non funded football teams and therefore we must take very good care of the grounds during the show. You must remember that this very kind man has saved the day and has even re-scheduled his football training to accommodate us.

We have had words about bbq's as we have been asked by several entrants if they can bring them. There is a strict rule that if anyone brings a bbq it has to have legs. NO disposable bbq's are allowed.

So can you please pass this message on to all that are attending as we cannot stress enough how important this is!

Please note that at this new venue the only water supply we will have is a fire engine and they will not be on site until 9:30 so if you need water it may be wise to bring your own in a collapsable water container.

Also there is NO electric hook-up at this site, so if you need power you will need to bring your own generator as we will not be able to supply anyone with power. Sorry for the inconvenience but as you can appreciate we have done the very best we can in the circumstances.

The new venue is:

Lindsey Grounds - Taylors Avenue, Cleethorpes.

I am also having to re-organise the site plan so this too will be e-mailed to you no later than Friday morning.

To enable you get directions for this venue via your Sat Nav, if you enter the pubs address which is nearly opposite the site you can't miss it.
The address is: The Lynton, Lynton Rise, Cleethorpes, DN35. I hope this is of help. If you need any help with the directions please feel free to call us 07867 543390.

Cheers
Jo & Martyn
