Er, German TV gets off on all German drivers, even the 1 with the Finnish father. & they still manage to mention how many World Championships Ralf's brother won every 2nd race.
I've watched F1 in Italy too & that was emphatically not just Ferrari, despite what I'd been led to expect.

Saw Hamilton's first win on Italian TV and I had much less urge to throw heavy objects at the screen. I suspect a lack of a James Allen did that.
On the other hand, they had an hour long programme before the race with some pretty good "experts" including Luca Badoer who was adamant that Ferrari would piss all over McLaren in the race.
If by that he meant Kimi would come 5th and Massa would get black flagged he was spot on...

Definitely not. Despite being Italian and having his wages paid for by the Dancing Donkeys I was still surprised just how arrogant and biased he was.
But I'd certainly concur with your view that Italian TV are not Ferrari-centric. They talked of and to the Italian drivers, for sure, but they seemed a lot less jingoistic than us Brits.
