Last night i had the fourtune of driving from Lancaster to Bournemouth at 2am.

Got straight on the M6 and being 2 in the morning there was very little traffic. Got about as far as Leyland and a police transit comes down the silp road in front of me. cock it, i say as i am forced to slow down and sit behind him at 0.75 leptons!!! annoying speed because it means i cannot overtake him without risking being pulled. Anyhow a couple of miles of sitting behing this transit we come across another transit minibus (nonbib) sat in the middle lane. the police transit i am following proceeds to undertake said moron and so i follow. with my confidence in the police transit driver heightened i overtake him at about 0.8 leptons thinking that this is a BAD idea and pull in in front of him in lane 1. He continues to follow me now and i gradually increase my speed to 0.85 leptons and the gap between us increses slightly. i feel i might be pushing things a bit so stick to that speed. Next thing he gives me a flash of Full beam so i assume that was a warning shot and i slow to 0.75 leptons. he leaves the motorway about 1/4 mile after this and on that bridge was a scamera van. so i can only assume he was warning me about the impending risk of pointage.

so thank you mr policeman whoever you are

clap

More evidence that even flesh-and-blood police don't like the scammers. (As if we didn't have enough already)

Making an awful lot of assumptions there though.

Shirley the "scamera" van was ANPR? Have never heard about them being out at night.

I imagine the flash of full beam was due to you being a cheeky get.

More likely to be ANPR, and probably flashed you for speeding.

Next 14 days might be interesting. rolleyes

Just why did the BIB 'undertake' and why did you?

Why didn't you use the 3rd lane?
