Hi all,car had a new clutch 500 miles ago so it should be ok? But i got stuck in some traffic and hardly moved for about 20 mins and noticed the biting point seemed to have got higher! is this normal?

I have heard about that happening before, the clutch fluid can start to get cooked if you get stuck in traffic. Did it go back to normal once you got going again?

When my clutch fluid got really hot the biting point seemed to get lower. Though that may have just been the effect of air getting into the system when hot on mine (had a dodgy bleed nipple)
