Bloody wrs on this thread, are starting to piss me off. They are calling me a liar because I said I blew a clutch on the SLR, but apparently it doesnt have one. I dont know either way, I was only going by what the breakdown guy said. And as far as I knew all cars had clutches. (not clutch pedals)

It had an F1 paddleshift gearbox. I admit I know nothing about engines and stuff like that, I just drive them. I cant even check the oil on most cars if im honest. It just pisses me off when people start calling me a liar, when im not.

Liar liar bums on fire. Don't worry about it will, seems like people with too much time on their hands to me, either that or jealousy. I certainly fall into the jealousy category.

Lol, thanks Steve. Probably is jealousy. But I got some retard who sent me a big transcript from a website explaining to me about some torque thingy that means it doesnt need a clutch, Like I give a toss, all I wanna know is where the accelerator and brake are, and where the petrol goes in.

ok the official answer as for a stupid person (like me) is:-

YES a auto/tip box does have a clutch, not like a normal clutch but it has several clutches to make it drive. so the RAC couldve been correct, these things are still called clutches, even though its not really a clutch LOL. my man said he cant speak for the SLR but rari/porker boxes he has changed have them

Lol, you might have to teach me. Or you could hold the steering wheel while I look to make sure my feet are on the right pedals.
