530 Auto stalling

I have a 530 Auto (2001 model) that has started to stall occasionally.

It has stalled when I stop in traffic and then start to pull away. If I switch off and restart it runs fine. Runs fine most of the time but happens from time to time.

Any clues where to start looking?

Cam sensor and Exhaust sensor.
These went on my 530, around £50+VAT per sensor plus fitting and 2hours labour

Diagnosis so far by an indie garage is cam sensor and possibly exhaust and crank sensor, but recommendation is to change the cam sensor first since this can affect readings for the other two, apparently.

Had noticed fuel consumption had increased and hopefully this will be improved too when the repair is complete!
