07 535d Bluetooth help

Hi

My brother in law picked up his brand new 535d and can not get the phone book to come up on screen. The phone connects and he can make calls with the phone but no numbers on screen?

Any ideas

If it's a Symbian phone (N series) then it's not compatible. List of compatible phones here (warning most of the supported phones are trash!)
