Graphic Design Staff.

Noticed a few of you are well up to speed on the subject… we are looking to recruit an additional graphic designer in our small studio. Photoshop, illustrator skills etc.

However finding the right designer has been a real nightmare! We have the opportunity with plenty of existing clients to really expand this side of our business but I cannot find the right people.

Do you have any suggestions on good recruitment companies / websites for skilled design staff? I would even consider graduates if I could find one with a decent attitude towards actual work!

We are based in Luton, Bedfordshire. Offering anything from £15 to £22k as a start wage.

They all know their stuff, and can draw on a talent pool of thousands. A very good place to post a recruitment ad for a designer is in a publication called Design Week (http://www.designweek.co.uk). They will probably give you the biggest audience of any graphics publication, and you'll get some quality responses, too.
