Surely you need something you can wear slippers and a pink dressing gown in - kick back with a Cohiba, 2 chicks and a bottle of Cristal in the back
If you went for the Bentley you could wear your wollen hat as well..

you can drive it for me while I'm in the back seat
B, you reckon the Bentley would suit me??? Jet black one that is

...you guys, what are you like!!! What makes you think I'll pimp it out???
Mandeep, I would def go for the T but they're still quite pricey, did a lot of research on the Arnage's at the weekend. The T is bl00dy quick!! But a nice Red Label with good spec and colour is still a nice ride I reckon with a little grunt too

The M5 would be the only BM I'd go for.
The Red Label is a genuinely special interior, albeit compromised by some BMW switchgear controlling the air con.
It's not as special as the previous Turbo R/RL/RT/Mulliner last(ish) of sequence '3 box' series cars which defined the bespokey interior better than any luxury marque to date, including the current RR Phantom.
However, more weld spots made for less creak in the body structure (potholes, etc would chronically unsettle the old car) and the feel for the driver was massively improved and although I had serious reservations about the lack of imperiousness (cockpit felt claustrophobic) next to the old RT, it was a corking drive.
Although no more powerful, courtesy of the same, single turbo 400bhp WWII stylee woofleblock under the bonnet, steering was in a different league and I'm not sure I don't prefer it to the very latest Arnage T. The suspension on this car (and later the later 'R') is preferable to the bone shaker T, also.
The Maserati would be an interesting option as well but aren't they still quite a lot more?
The M5 has obvious appeal but for sheer waft with a dollop of Terry Thomas, the properly automatic Arnage would be a superb all rounder.

as always derestrictor.Do you know of anywhere that details the spec list including options for the Arnage??
I suppose that's a stupid question seeing that options for these types of jewellery could be endless!!! I can just see myself in one, wafting about like you say, can't see the M5 suiting me however the Maser would def suit me
............but why did I just browse for bl00dy 996TT's and see a mint Basalt Black, Manual with baby miles for less than Red Label money...the tuning options on these are very appealing

..
wonder if I can afford both, now that would be nice. No, the T is not the Bentley to have, the ride quality is too Audified, too crashy for UK surface imperfections.
You won't much notice the power differential, the several tons of premium Bronto
negate most of the extra bhp.
As a troubleshooter from the factory once said, "nobody does torque quite like Bentley" and that's true.
Rumour has it that an Italian Count, who buys several at a time every few years, gets them to increase the 6.75's wick to around 650 bhp but quite how "the Flying Italian" manages this commission is unknown.
At that level, the car would be intoxicating: the engine would have to entertain a brisk stroll but it would barely break sweat.
T, you really must get the Red Label before the ban. CarSpy had a cracker for £45k. Chop, chop...

no comments about the Masser? Has anyone any experience with them. I dont but am curious I think the car is fantastic looking and has an interesting interior. If your 33 I relly wouldnt go for the red label! But then saying that im 25 and have a Cls Merc which alot of people think is too old but I love. Masser all the way without a doubt. If you were wearing a suit to work whilst driving your just gonna look like a chauffeur!
You need one of these:

And no, you cant have mine!
Yes, the body structure of the later car is better. But the later body is severely cramped internally. A lot less space, trust me. And if you have the sunroof on the Arnage, headroom becomes severely cramped.

Oh! Rapture. If Arthur Wellesley were PM today, this would be the entrance to his country bolthole.
Except with two mounds of dead Frenchmen decorating the door entrance.
Thanks for all the comments chaps. I had a good read of some more specs and found the options list for the Arnage RL and the RL Le Mans....I have found a nice Sapphire Black with lowish miles at a very good price.
JOETHETOE, know what you mean re driving it in a suit but I won't be doing that, more like leather jackets and PRADA shades
BTW, do you have the CLS55?? They seem to have come down to very good money now.
Der, I am very intrigued on the possible power upgrades you have mentioned.....mmmmmmmmmmmmm....

In response to the OP, i'm looking at the same scenario, as have decided two seats just won't be enough for what I need.
Extending the budget a little more, puts me into Conti GT territory for outright power and 'waft'.
M5 is a good car, but ridiculous on fuel for what it delivers and very prone to losing a few pounds when it goes head to head vs depreciation!
Quattro is a good option too because of its exclusivity, but aren't they also prone to the dreaded 'D' word?
