Larry has done 16000 miles now and the clutch refuses to fail.

To add insult to injury, all the bloody switches are still working and the aircon has the gall to, get this... blow cold air out of the vents!

I'm seriously thinking of sueing my dealer (haven't decided which one yet) for selling me such an unmitigated pile of crap.

in 2 years, all I've had to pay for is regular maintenance and tyres. It's a bloody disgrace!

Should I pursue legal action or just go back to a 911?

biggrin

Just dropped mine for for it's 37,500 mile service, still running on the replacement clutch fitted at about 3,000 miles, so not bad going.

BTW - Anyone looking for replacement tyres, Lambo are now using a tyre called just "P ZERO" and this is in stock in the UK - looks like a very track minded grip pattern though.

Regards
Simon

My clutch seems to work perfectly too, no warning lights on, car starts, goes round corners and even stops fine....It's really disappointing isn't it Mikey.

Nipped into the garage just to see if a wing had maybe started rotting or the suspension collapsed, but the bugger just seemed to be grinning at me, taunting me with a 'come drive me' look.

Bloomin sun is even shining, bah humbug.......

Dave who?

I think Mikey's Gallardo has been really tough - how else could it survive all those aggressive kerbs that keep attacking it - at this rate the spares market will be crippled in years to come!

and as for hugging wood when talking about a modern Lambo - surely not, surely y'all meant hugging carbon fibre...

After 18 months of ownership and 11k miles I can honestly say that the Gallardo (bless its little departed cotton socks) was one of the most reliable cars I have had to date (and I've had a few in my short time on this planet I can assure you!) ..... fingers crossed the Murci will be just as reliable, and I will be a very happy man.

I agree - it's disgusting. I have two Lambo's that simply refuse to break down (touch wood). Luckily the 430 keeps us from forgetting the way to Graypaul. And it's taken me to a few other interesting places too.....

I've decided to pop over to Lamborghini Birmingham this afternoon to complain bitterly about the complete lack of warning lights appearing on my dashboard. Not once in 2 years have I had even a single warning light. Not once. It's criminal. I bet they've never been connected.

I'm determined to find a fault with this car.

Apart from the fact that it's "not a Ferrari" (copywrite Clarkson, circa October 2003). laugh
