Quick question

I want to remortgage (for a new deal as old one finishing)

I have unsecured loans which I want to consolidate into this mortgage. However on the online calculators, I cannot borrow enough to cover my existing mortgage and loans. Although if I didn't have the loans, it appears I could borrow more than enough.

Are they likely to lend me the full amount to pay those debts off, and have one monthly payment?

One other point is that I have investments that are double what the loans are, but cannot access them yet due to capital gains I want to avoid, would they take it into account that I have savings available. Also I have a guarantor avaialble if needed.

What's the general concensus? Would I have to use my savings to clear the debt first or could I sign some sort of letter of intent to clear them?

Cheers

Depends how much the shortfall is between the amount they are prepared to lend you and the extra amount you need to consolidate all your borrowing. sually this sort of thing is possible.
What you need is some decent mortgage advice...... drop me a line I'll run through things with you and see if I can help, if you like.

Thanks, I'm seeing my advisor tomorrow, but didn't want to go in and ask what could have been a stupid question, so wanted to prepare myself.

If I don't get anywhere I'll give you a shout.

Appreciate the offer.

Regards,

Clint
