Had a couple of new tyres fitted the other day. They managed to damage one of the wheels so today I've had a wheel refurbishment company come out and fix the damage (ad the tyre places expense).

Whilst crawling on my knees inspecting the wheel I've just noticed there's a slight indentation in the "crease or ridge" where the sill comes under the body, around 2" forward of the jack point.

I'm assuming one of the two parties has missed the jack point.

Can't see any damage and it's quite a small indentation, I suppose I'm being paranoid but I'd sooner ask than not ask - entirely cosmetic or anything to worry about?

I don`t think you`ve got too much to worry about there (obviously a limited photo) but assuming just the dent.

I`d be more worried about the wheel as I`ve yet to find a company who refurbish wheels properly mobile. Providing that`s been done ok then you`ll be fine.

Thanks Henry, it's pissing it down at the moment so I was quick but I've run my fingers along the side that's hidden from view and it feels straight/unmarked etc - I assumed it was cosmetic but knowing sod all I figured I'd sooner look an arse and ask a silly question smile

The company who did it (the refurb, I can't point any fingers as three places have had the wheel off/on) do work for OPC Nottingham so they should be reputable, I asked them to only do the areas that needed doing, which were quite small to start with, but it was the principle that the car went in perfect etc.
