Guys

Have a 1998 450. One of the rubber seals (drivers side) that slids into a little groove at the edge of the roof panel needs replacing. It forms the seal between the top of the window and the roof.

Any idea's where I might go for one of those ?

Thanks

David

Yeah I got mine from a TVR Main dealers as well, you will buy it by the metre.

When fitting it, spray some hairspray into the slot in the roof, and onto the rubber seal, as it will slide in a lot more easily and when the hairspray drys the seals dont move, but if you need to remove them they will just pull out. Just a little tip, hope it helps.

The seals on mine are in good condition although they 'fall apart' from the roof when I am taking it off. Am I best to remove them, clean up and hairspray them back in or buy new ones?

Cheers

I would say get new ones, they are a T section that can wear smile

But if you have some "Extra Strength" in the the glove box that might help biggrin

Just had a look at http://www.tvrcarparts.com/pages/partdetail.asp?id...
I see that it says its is for 'later' cars. Mine is a 95 400.....Just thought I would ask before ordering.

Also, It doesnt state how long the rubber is. Any ideas?

Cheers
