I only have one key for my car and would like a spare.

Thank you

Its a Ford key.
The alarm gubbins are Meta (any decent car audio/alarm supplier should be able to help out if you need replacement alarm fobs, however it will require re-coding if you don't have the red card with the alarm keycode on it)

I asked my local TVR dealer for a replacement and was told it would take up to 6 weeks! Try Ford, but you will need a good car alarm company for the Meta alarm bits.

Sorry for the late response - holidays and all that.....

I've also heard that Carl Baker is THE man. He can do the alarm thingies via post if you're (a) not close enough to pop in; and (b) slightly technically minded to follow some fairly simple instructions.
(As for me - I failed on both counts so in te end opted for local supplier!)

Re the key:
I just pitched up at the local Ford garage, who cut a new key based on the TVR key I already had. 5 minutes and a few pounds was all it took.
