As above really...

117miles

great day out, didn't get too wet, very well organised ride IMO..

did it in 6hrs 30mins...quite pleased, but could have saved a bit more
time at the refreshment stops...


This was really a training ride for the Etape in two weeks time, now THAT's
going to be a killer eek

Yep I was there, on my yellow Ron Cooper fixed 8h 14m fast for an old Audaxer like me

I went past a chap grinding one up hill, and said full respect on my way past, wasn't you was it ??


Mega achievment anyway, i bet you were fecked afterwards !!!!

Got to throw out respect for anyone on a fixed wheel bike, but come ON why were you taking it so easy ? After all, if you were really up for a challenge you would have put on a 54T big ring...

I was one of the T-Mobile guys (in pink) biggrin

They had a load of journalists/clients riding that day and asked me to join them as a guide (along with two German ex-pros). Brilliant day out!

I passed a whole load to T Mobile people today, and not those in Le Tour!
