Des, can you give us a best guess from your charts and research how long until prices of 997Gt3 snd 964RS will converge? wink

silverstone OPC had a white one with PCCBs for sale at the weekend for £97K. Seems to have gone now. The PCCB equipped models seem to command loads of money although they mostley come with bucket seats & so I guess that also pumps up the price. The steel brake models are fairly common & so I guess that reduces there price whilst inflating the price of the PCCB models.

82K does seem a tad cheap tho, maybe it was a typo

Prices still seem pretty stable judging by Pistonheader's cars. wink

7 cars below 90k and 3 above, although White seems to be saturating the market a little. confused

yes one of the things thats stopping me from taking the plunge is the wet weather performance. Im in a c4s at the moment & the benefits of the much hated 4wd is that the fun doesnt stop when it rains. As its raining most of the time at the moment, an important consideration. I would hate to spalsh out on a car that wouldnt be as much fun in the wet, altho obviously in the dry it would be great. Any comments/views?

I think the good thing about the new 3 is that it can be as normal as the C2 if you want it to be. If you drive like a prat in the wet then NO its not going to save your arse. Then again neither will most cars.

DO NOT be put off. As others on here will confirm I'm sure, it's pretty dam good in the wet. Much more so than the early mag. reports suggested when they drove the car on worn tyres. I drove mine back from Germany last December and two days later was chasing the Prodrive AMV8 developement car driven by a handy journo. across some evil fenland roads in appalling monsoon conditions with no probs. Coninued to use the car through the winter and never gave it a seconds thought.
