to cut a long story short after a messy break up i entered the financial wilderness, i think most know what im on about, anyhoo moving on, i have bought a boxster s from a private seller and would like to arrange a vehicle inspection before any cash changes hands, the AA and RAC wont touch performance cars for insurance purposes, do you know anyone else in this area who would inspect the car?
many thanks

The Boxster 'S' is terrific - go for it.

But get it inspected at an OPC and add the Official Porsche Warranty (£895). Then you can thoroughly enjoy the car, knowing it's a good one, and sleep at night with the reassurance that most essentials are covered.

Just to throw in a curve ball, also consider the Hartech maintenance plan instead of the OPC warranty. IMO you get more value for your money.

I wouldn't trust a porsche centre to do an inspection, but you will need to if you get a warranty. Get peter morgan or Phil Clarke if you don't go for the warranty.

while I do agree that a dealer inspection perhaps isn't as thorough as you would hope (I once had a car inspected by 2 different porsche dealers within a week and you'd think they had inspected different cars by the results!), I would definitely rate them above an RAC inspection.
