Battery

Just a quickie,

I bought a £150 xantia diesel the other day which i was only going to keep for a couple of weeks in order to do some jobs. The battery in it died so i had to spend £75 on a new one. The one in the TVR works fine but thought i would rather put that new battery in my P&J and the old one back in the snotter which is going back to ebay as soon as the logbook comes through.

Any reason for it not to fit or work?

Original spec battery is 069.
If it's too tall, it may crack the bonnet.
If it doesn't fit the current clamp, fit a strap.

Other than size, only thing I can think of that you might want to check is the current rating; might be too small to turn the starter on the S..

The original spec is 072, 650 AMP cranking power. Mine is an OLDHAM.
