Islington curbs
Discussion
Hopefully an easy question. I am in the unfortunate position of having to park my Chim on the mean streets of Islington. In order that little Harriet does not have to climb too high a pile of old copies of the Observer in order to enter the back seat of the family's Range Rover on the way to school each morning, the council have built curbs that frequently require scaffolding to surmount. This leads to the all too frequent grinding of the underside of my doors on the kurbstones by both driver and passenger alike. Parking further away from the kurb is never an option since you will be towed away immediately by the council's tax inspector. So, does anyone have a solution or idea for protecting the underside of the doors on opening? I won't even go into the coffin sized speed humps but the Chim in first can still grossly exceed the speed limit between them which gives some satisfaction.
No help whatsoever but I deliberately didn't buy in Islington because of the sheer viciousness and prevalence of speed bumps and those narrow things you have to drive through...Nasty place for a sports car..!!...And my friend chopped in his Cayman because of the number of times it was vandalised by the feral estate kids
Like I said no help..Sorry!
