S4 and 2 car seats
Discussion
I've got an 03 S4 avant and a three year old... That works (just)
Now my wife is expecting again so we need room for a baby seat as well.
I'm an average height kind of a bloke (6' ish), but we don't seem to be able to find a seat which will go behind the driver's seat when I'm driving. Are there any baby (rear facing) baby seats which are small enough to fit in the back of an A/S4 with out the seat being so far forward that your legs in the engine bay?
Help - please don't make me suffer the depreciation!

We had this but in my previous 3 series (similar size I guess)
Rear facing baby seats just take up loads of room - fact. But they only last 6 months or so until they go into normal front facing seats so there was no way I was going to buy a new car..
My solution? Put toddler behind you and baby behind the missus seat! Hope that helps!
Added: due to pressure from the 'boss' we now have an Audi A6 avant..

Hi.
Try the "Go Plus" child seat that Audi dealers can sell you - we charge £100 inc VAT for it.
It is suitable for up to 15 months, so you won't have to change it after 6 months, so it is quite good value.
I've just tried it in our showroom car, with the driver's seat where I would sit, and admitedly it's a tight fit, but it does go in. (I'm 6'1"

Same problem, we put the forward facing kiddie seat in the passenger seat, the rear facing behind it, and either me or "the wife" sits in the back ... mopping up the sick.
It's only short term until the new sprog is big enough for a forward facing seat.
Or you could by a nice diesel MPV.....
