Gallardo - Black Rims
Discussion
these are mine http://www.pistonheads.com/xforums/topic.asp?h=0&a...
I've got loads of pictures of orange cars with different black rims but our IT department has blocked my access to picture hosting sites so I can't post them(despite the fact that I can see others)
Why is Pistonheads the only car forum site where you can't directly post pictures?

Have a look at this site: http://wheelsperformancecom.stores.yahoo.net/laga....
Just remember that some of these wheels are only rated up to 150mph

Haha you lot make me laugh, if I can find 16+ different cars with black rims on in about 30 seconds via google then the man needs to get flamed for not even trying.
PS. If you guys can only judge someone by what I choose to put on my PH profile then
You chose to put it on, my friend, pointing out (concurs) condition and outputs.. what is one to assume?PS. If you guys can only judge someone by what I choose to put on my PH profile then

If you don't have anything positive to help SR with on the subject of gallardos with black rims why bother posting?
It seems pie and piston is so overrun with stickbeak rabble rousers they are now bursting at the seems and rampaging around the other forums.
the saving grace for LCUK Members is that we can always 'retire' to our own forum element of PistonHeads and those rampaging Trolls and 'stickbeaks' (ace word there MH!!!) can't get in without a bloody fight or them joining the Club... (hint, hint, hint!)
now, I really have to do some bloody work!!!

If you are going to rack up miles on any car, black alloys can have issues where stone chips are more obvious and thus the alloys need repainting more frequently than boring old silver. Although black alloys do look good with some of the solid colour cars.
(above info gained from chatting to an infrequent posting PHer on the last eurohoon trip, who opted for black alloys on a F430 and had them repainted silver after a few thousand miles and lots of stone chips.)

My wheels all get refurbed every few months anyway (above info gained from chatting to an infrequent posting PHer on the last eurohoon trip, who opted for black alloys on a F430 and had them repainted silver after a few thousand miles and lots of stone chips.)

And it a tradition to kurb the wheels on a new car on the day of purchase... 5 times now
