Power: 520kw (600hp) @ 5800rpm

650BHP VAUXHALL MONARO/VXR TWIN TURBO KIT GEN TT

Providing up to 700hp of seamless boost

I know sometimes you need to take the figures quoted with a pinch of salt but I would have thought they could be consistant in their advert

Nothing wrong with the add they are just saying that the kit can run upto 700bhp I would assume the set up is stable and more reliable at 600 bhp is all.

I know for certain that they have kits in the us that happily run these figures and more with stock internals, and 10 PSI is no boost at all really my piddly 1.8 turbo runs 18 psi - 20 psi all day long.

It all comes down to boost, 600hp is at a reliable 10psi..all day every driver. HP is onwards and upwards as far as how much psi you want to put through it. Standard LS1 bottom ends are good for 650 odd BHP at 12psi. LS2's are good for a little more and it all depends on the size of your kahunas!!

If you've got questions why don't you just contact them?

be very wary of the heat those turbos generate in the paint on your bonnet and in the engine bay because they are mounted so high up. If you were pushing on say round a track could easily blister the paint on the bonnet when they heat up. At 4k supplied without fitting they're not that much cheaper than going to say Mark at Rapid for his Magnacharger. Extra costs such as rolling road time etc and lack of warranty on the install got to be worth the extra 2-2.5k. Excellent power for relatively little money but reckon there are better solutions out there. Just my 2p worth.

Mate, I've had one of those kits for 2 years back in OZ, on the strip and round the track...no blistering paint for me????? 2.5k for a tune and a warranty, why don't you ask them how much they charge for install and if the install comes with a warranty & tune you might be surprised!

Why are people so adverse to different opions, that kit has been around for years and will make considerably more power than the magnacharger.

My 2C.

That will be why they have heat shields wrap over them much like on most turbo OEM kits.
