I've been recommended these guys to put belts in the back of the car,any one used them,if so was the job done well?
you having them put in the back of the GT3?If so didn't think by law you could do this.
I was told that this was not allowed thus put me off buying a GT3 as i have got 2 kids, otherwise would have. Let me know mate.
Others have done it and I think it's only an insurance issue. If you've got the folding front seats and you notify your insurers, and they are happy, it should be fine.
Ideally you should fit the rear seat squabs and backs. My main concern would be to ensure rear neck support.
The company you mention do have an excellent reputation. Let us know how you get on.

My insurance company are fine with it,it is a carrera 4 shell anyway with mounts already welded to shell.I have buckets and no cage, but you can easily get in if you slide them all the way forward.I was originally put off the GT3 cos of no rear seats, but I will only use it occasionally for my 3 year old.His seat fits perfectly into the space where the seat usually is,so I dont need seats.I have had a demobiliser fitted to the front airbag so he can use the front as well, what a good dad am I...
I need a car that is fun for me but not totally unusable by the family,we have no.2 sprog on the way so I hope to get a bit of use while the kids are small...

I did a lot of checking out before I got my GT3,I got a cost for the belts today, being fitted week after next.£50 per side, 3 hrs to fit, approx £300 all in inc VAT,bit pricey, but if it means I can use the car more, its acceptable. Mk 1 should be the same, belts any colour, black would be best.
