Ian, not sure yet depends on
a) weather and
b) if I ever get a top ball joint that fits to mend my suspension thats in bits, and
c) Work committments that day
Maz, Ashby Folville is a car meet every month at, wait for it, Ashby Folville not far from Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire.
I'm talking here like I know all about it but I've never been yet.

Ashby Folville is a small village between Melton Mowbray and Leicester. 2nd Tues of each month is a BIG gathering (100's!) of interesting cars, motorbikes, the occasional traction engine etc. Centered around village pub and cricket pitch, £1 to park and free to wander round looking at the machinery. It's usually a lovely way to spend a summer evening, but might need to delete the word "summer" for next week....!

Oh, and on Sunday my wife's Aunt and cousins are coming round for the day, but seeing as I don't actually know you that probably isn't of much interest to you

Ah sorry cant make Sunday anyway as doing my bit for the damn Pony Club. May consider the Tuesday meets, have heard about these via the grapevine, evidently you all meet at a pub but dont actually partake in any of the offerings in the establishment. Cant believe such nonsense is true

If that is directed at me, then yes our cars do look pretty much identical, yours probably in better condition than mine but I am working on it, and mine probably has more dirt on it as I use it pretty much every day and I do live next door to a farm. Just means I have to wash it more often.
It wasn't as such, but now you mention it, they do.. Thats three the same colour and if we can drag RudeGirl and Pod along we'll have our very own red TVR meet 
I wouldn't worry too much about the dirt; have always been more interested in driving them than polishing them. Oh, and putting things back on when they fall off..

With any luck we'll get a change in the weather in the next couple of weeks, so I'm sure our cars will meet some time soon .... in fact next time I go into town I'll take the S and park it up next to yours.In answer to the original post, unlikely to make it to AF (again) this month - evening track evening at Silverstone beckons.

If you are in town in working hours, I'm usually in the office so if you want somewhere to park there is usually space in front of mine, help yourself. No point in paying parking charges if you don't have to..petclub said:

I look at that as a service to humanity.. Someone might have actually hurt themselves in that car if I'd not taken it off the road..
