PCM sat nav question

Does anyone know if you can get discs for the PCM 2 that:

1) Accepts postcodes

2) Alerts for speed camera's

In order to have these, would it be some form of hardware update as well?

Hi,
Ive been asking the same question. I have finally got the answer.
If you buy the latest discs for the 996, you get all of the europe discs + an update disc that enables postcode entry and even better, turns on the TMC unit to give you traffic alerts on your sat nav. However, no speed cameras as far as I know. to be honest, I use the Fuzion GPS camera detector which works really well and once you have bought it, you get free updates for life. They are around the £90 mark and well worth the money as they are always up to date.

You cannot buy the multimedia update disc on its own, ive asked, so you will have to fork out £420 for the discs. My discs are on order and should arrive in the next couple of days.

They are difficult to copy unless you know what you are doing, but I will deffo be backing mine up when they arrive, they are just too expensive to scratch, so ill keep the originals at home.
