Caption competition

Well, strictly speaking not really a caption competition. Made you look though, eh It's more of a 'pick a new profile picture' competition, without any prizes. Judges decision is final, etc.

What it is, is that I finally got round to polishing the car, with the sole intention of a nice country drive and to take some pictures of it as I don't really have any yet. It's quite a scenic location, but the lovely Didcot power station is visible in one of them These are the digital snaps, the proper 35mm ones will probably replace them at some point.

Apologies to anyone who doesn't have a fat internet connection, as this lot comes to 5MB!

I think I know where they're taken from - Is it on the B4001 at the junction with the road to Letcombe Basset just up from Childrey? Do I win a prize?

It isn't actually, but you're not too far out. It's on the B4494 just south of Wantage:

Going north on the B4494 from the bottom of the map, pass the Ridgeway car park, continue on down the hill past Grim's Ditch, then it's the next junction, where 3 tracks cross the road. There are loads of these places round here. Maybe we should have a good photo location area on PH.

Number 2 is in the lead at the moment, number 26 is catching up though. I guess we need a closing date, so it's probably today at about 10pm.
