I have just ordered and am having installed in my 997 C2S next Thursday 12th the Denison Gateway 500 with the new Denison BTA1000 Bluetooth option which includes a microphone and will allow me to make handsfree calls using the PCM Bose speakers and will mute the radio/iPod etc

The Bluetooth might also display the CLI of incoming calls on the PCM screen which would be good. I will have to dial out using the phone though but at least I will have proper integrated handsfree.

At the same time I have upgraded my Origin B2 GPS camera detector to their new colour Pogo Alert (Origin now do a trade in of £75 for your B2)...has any one got a Pogo as yet? I plan to have it installed in front of the front right windscreen pillar.

Will post again when it is all in with details of how it all works !!!

I've got the Pogo Alert. I haven't even used it yet as I am waiting for it to get hardwired but it does look a very good unit. I have looked at putting it where you want to but there is not enough flat surface space to put it if you dashboard mount it. Obviously if you mount it using the windscreen sucker then it will be fine. I'm looking at dashboard mounting it in the middle of the dash towards the back of the windscreen, right next to the Bose speaker with the power cable coming out of the vent directly behind it.

Would be interested to know how you get on with the Dension Bluetooth as the sim card phone thingy in the 997 is damn irritating.

I just got another OriginB2 because there's no way I'd go to the Pogo. All you get is a color screen and you lose the laser diffuser and radar detector capabilities of the B2. They use the exact same database. Not an upgrade for sure!

The Pogo does have the laser detector still, I did not have a diffuser on my B2
