If you don't use it for to/from work then Haggerty.
I use mine every day and best I got was Sunninghill.
Tried Mannings and thought they were taking the p***

what's cheapest for one person won't necessary be cheapest for another; this yeat I'm currently with Mannings for around GBP650, and they just did my marine transport insurance for less than 2% (industry standard is 3%).

I use Competition-Car-Insurance for my Sag. I have limited mileage but includes 6 track days. Very good price for me.

I use Sunninghill at the moment, but I suspect I will finish up with Mannings at renewal. I like the inclusive track-day cover both provide and the fact that both are prepared to mirror NCB.

I would expect the Sagaris to be close to 500 GBP at renewal.

Garaged, no accidents or convictions, good post code, ancient, more than one car with the broker and lots of rear HP rear wheel drive experience. smile

Surprised you even got them to quote. When I tried last year all I got was "TV-What What ?".

As Graham said, personally I reckon Manning is the best and the track day cover is there too without having to negotiate.

Think I must have upset Privilege somehow. They just quoted me over 600 for renewal on my 6 year old XKR, expected mileage 3,000 on sunny days. I'm 40+, I live in a quiet suburb, have over 5 years simultaneous no claims on 5 cars. Sometimes I just don't get how they price the business. I was with them 3 years ago, then they increased by 300 on renewal, so I moved to another company. The following year they were the best quote again, and now this year they try to take the P. Without even trying I got 200 cheaper. Must be some logic somewhere.

Point is, Manning are at least consistent. That said, I've never seen 4 handles on Sagaris insurance, so well done.

Funny how these things go - had my renewal through to today, 3rd year with Privilge and gone up a bit - to £464

Hmmh... Wish I could get those prices. From west Northern Ireland in the country - £2,100 is best quote for everyday use car. Thats with Direct Line Insurance - if I lived in Belfast it would be around £600. Postcode lottery!!

I think it was Privalege who quoted me £1,100 but with it being a second car and limited mileage.
