Prior to their stock market floatation, money supermarket are doing a share offer.
I'm curious as to peoples thoughts on this as an investment. If it was a couple of hundred quid I'd have a punt, but the minimum investment is a grand, which makes me less sure.
Guessing at this point some of the city boys will go all cloak and dagger but any other little men out there, like myself, thinking of putting their money down.

Having posted that last night I had some time to think about it this morning. My own experiences of the site are that it was actually rather crap. What you guys have posted with regards to market fragility and shakey business model have reinforced my thoughts. Hand staying firmly in pocket.
I wasnt aware they'd valued themselves at £1bn. Someone may wish to inform them the dotcom bubble burst some time ago!

As well as the "price comparison webite" Moneysupermarket also own a mortgage sourcing system, and a mortgage packaging firm. I wasnt aware they'd valued themselves at £1bn. Someone may wish to inform them the dotcom bubble burst some time ago!
There was a lot of upheaval there a couple of years ago......

If its anywhere near as good as their loan sourcing facility [read as: here's a list of 20 loans at fantastic rates, simply submit an application through us then find out none of the quotes were within £100/month of what the actual rate is] then I'd expect there was some frowning upon it?
I am only learning about mortgage advising but I suspect their website falls down at the same hurdle the travel one does. Its all very well giving people eleventy billion cheap options, but people need advice on whats best for them.
