Noble Owners Trackday. Donnington 22nd July 2007
Discussion
As discussed on the "why oh why" thread, Daddysummo has kick off the planning of a Noble trackday event for us at Donnington.
Whilst we won't, I doubt, have enou8gh takers for a full exclusive day, we will hopefully get enough Nobles booked in to make it a good fun event for us.
Right, I have just reserved a number of places for the Advanced group (faster cars) and we have those places saved until Monday mid morning when they will be released to the general folks again.
If you want to come and track your car please call Craig on 01787 221201 and ask for a place in Greg Noble's group of Nobles.
Craig is in all day today and over the weekend too so will handle this directally. He said its best to call hm between 10 and 2 when he is stapled to his desk.
Please feel free to ask him questions.
The format for the day is; 3 x 20 minute sessions every hour between 9am and 5pm (one hour for lunch). So the slower cars go out for 20 mins, then the intermediates, then us lot. There are a maximum of 40 cars per group, so you shouldn't get any traffic on track.
This is the safest format for newbies to start trackdays doing as you don't suffer getting stuck behind slower cars, and trust me, even if you think you should be in a novice group, you'll be fine in this group and will still be fine even if you are a bit slower than others, its all generally very gentlemanly.
When Sunday 22 July 2007
Venue Donington Park
Circuit National circuit
Day Format 3 Sessions p/h
Type Car Track Day
Noise Limit 98db
Price £139.00 per car & main driver
Additional Drivers £35.00 each

Extra info Intermediate group is full
http://www.trackdays.co.uk/tracks/donington-park.h... Website address here.
So Please get yourself booked up here asap (ie, today)
If you would like to come in another car (wizz, washy, Nathan, DanH etc) please do, but can you book up normally, not using up the 10 reserved places. (there were 17 places left at 9.30 this friday morning in total.)
Any other questions please ask on here or call or text me. 07803 016 607
Regards,
Greg

THE NOVICE AND INTERMEDIATE GROUPS ARE SOLD OUT
So like Greg says, you need to go in the advanced group.
Should be OK for anyone who's done a trackday before though, I'd normally put intermediate but i'll take the ego trip and go advanced for this !!!

Just had a call from Trackdays
THE NOVICE AND INTERMEDIATE GROUPS ARE SOLD OUT
I would suggest that anyone who's done a couple of trackdays swaps to the Advanced group.
Either that or we cancel and change the date.....

Whizz, it'll be OK. As long as you can drive and slow down on a yellow flag you'll sail it. A couple of feeler laps and you'll be right on the pace

Just an FYI, but trackdays.co.uk just resell other companies trackdays. This is actually a trakzone day https://store.donington-park.co.uk/products/produc... which is run by Donny themselves. For once it seems trackdays aren't marking up for the priviledge of booking through then.
Wizzy, I ws only messing about you not booking in "our group" mate!
Glad you're going to give it a go. Make sure you get some insurance for the day. Not cheap, but trust me, its worth it!!!
Was hoping there would be a few more takers by now! Where are Ash, Justin etc etc.
Unfortunatly, Paul C and Chillidog (the racers) are both on hols.
