On my way back from Cornwall to Plymouth this p.m. in my Mk. 1 GT3, became snarled up in heavy traffic due to RTA..

Air conditioning on, noticed a slight hesitation , almost a misfire before the engine picked up on pulling away.

Can't say I've noticed it before.

When the air con. is switched off, it doesn't happen.

Anyone had similar ?

No, not had that. If it was non-related to AC, I would have suggested MAF, but not sure how AC will affect any MAF signals.

Get coils checked.. They tend to break up with age, when they get really hot or under load they could be breaking down....

Second the coil diagnosis, they are susceptible to cracking which let moisture in when damp or wet which results in hesitation and misfire. Have a look at the coils, change the ones which show signs of cracking.

If one coil is crack, change them all as they will soon follow in the same way, only 32 quid each
