On a website here in NZ is a mystery car feature. http://classiccarfair.com/mysterycar.htm

This car has been on for ages and needs identifying. Any ideas?

Not my sort of thing I'm afraid. Looks like a Midget windscreen and probably doors.
I'd suspect Panther, but it certainly isn't a J72, Kallista or Lima......

There used to be a large American 1920s/30s style kit car called the Clenet (not sure of the exact spelling) that used Midget doors and screen.

The front end looked different to the car in the photo, but cars do get 'facelifts' over time so this could be a later version or one modified for another country (photo shows RHD so not USA).

As Ferg says he'd suspect Panther but it wasn't a full blown production one. I have to say it looks to have the right proportions of a J72 so maybe it's a J72 with modifications?
