Got the dash back from ACT and fitted it last weekend, Very happy, was doubtful that the finish would go with the colour scheme but i prefer it to the walnut now.

Very shiny too as it had a laquer finish as advised by Tim Lamont. Pics dont really do it justice either. total cost for both panels including VAT and delivery £220

Getting the dash top off sucks, it seems the stud that fixes the drivers side/end is way too long so i cut half an inch off it with the dremel to ease reassembly whichstill leaves plenty of thread to reattach to.

Looks good IMO.
Thought about it but my clocks have the black surrounds. I think it needs the silver highlights to work.

I am a big fan of that and think I prefer it to the walnut. I have the same interior so glad to see there is an option as the steel does not go at all IMHO.

I think it would look good with the black surrounds on the clocks too.
Thought about steel but i think engine turned would look best, but CF was a good alternative as it turns out.

Did you have to give them your old dash, or was it a new buy?

That does look good!

That's very nice Shorty; the cross-hatch weave looks so much better than the vertical/horizontal variation. I spoke to Tim about doing mine for the Griff just the other week. The walnut veneer looks kinda out of place in my black car and I think my white dials with silver bezzels will set the CF panel off as well as yours does. thumbup

Lee, its an exchange basis, luckily Tim already had a dash for the older style. ACT did a good job.

I had a hand made CF dash in my Griff - that had a Portland Grey interior and IMO still looked superb !
