Not any more I think he lost his balls in a nasty landing in 76, he's got replacement wooden ones now and yes he is still insane.

he had to do it once he had started his approach ,he had harley brakes .

Sponsored by HD through his career I think too..Harley`s back then were notoriously shit rides...wooden brakes ...crap suspension . To do the size of jumps on they motorcycles knowing full well you were going to hurt yourself in the next few minutes takes balls...whether they were actually in his ball sack or not.

Used to love watching him when i was a kid.

Just followed the link above and found someone who ahd posted a video of jumps with the toy that was brought out in the seventies. I never got mine to jump like that.

I just followed the link and found the video has been removed for breach of terms... but i did do a search and found other movies... The toys were ace... I had the rocket bike, and despite being bigger than the stunt bike it would jump miiiiiiiiile (child miles)

It got abused so badly but never broke... sold it back then, would be worth shed loads now.

As for the man himself, I wonder... when he's coming off the ramp and flying over the cars/sharks/fire ... is he thinking 'I CAN DO THIS!' or is he thinking 'THIS IS GONNA HURT BUT 10k IS 10k'
