Hi there,

I have posted this in the VMAX section but thought you guys might like to see them also.

Many thanks to Craig for allowing me to attend today and take some pictures of the superb machinery that attended the VMAX event.

Spent a couple of hours around the start line and then spent some time over the other side of the runway near the timing beam. Did not think it would be quite as hard as it was taking pics of cars passing me at 170mph plus.

Here are some from around the start line: -

Will post some of the 'action' shots in a while once I have worked through them.

Regards

Tim

Very nice, I thought I saw that G at Lambo Bham a few weeks ago could be wrong but the plate looked familiar....

Hi there,

As promised, here are some of my action shots from yesterdays event at Bruntingthorpe.

Many of these shots were taken out on the far side of the runway as the cars approached the timing beams. This meant I was trying to take shots of the cars as they passed me at over 150mph. In fact many of these cars were doing over 180mph as they crossed the beams. Bearing this in mind I am quite happy with the pictures.

Hope you like them

Nice to see my old Gallardo (black one) being used by Guy, she's a beaut.

Their noise restrictions must be a bit slack, as that Gallardo had a Tubi on it and is noisy as hell!

Hi there,

Yes all three Gallardos ran on the day. I got shots of all of them shortly before they passed through the timing beams. Unfortunately I was facing the other way so did not notice what speed the display said.

Great shots, some cracking looking metal there. Love the plate on the Monaro - very witty!
