I think even if the mileage isn't hit , it's still yearly. I'd want to get a car serviced before it's warranty expires too. Andy picked up a new engine this way, which saved 25k

There may be some confusion here.

The handbook (well mine, at least) only states mileage related maintenance, which is in kilometers. Perhaps this is where people have mis-read, taking 12/24/36 etc to mean months instead of 1000 kms?

So I'm sticking with the notion that the scheduled service intervals are still based on milage (7.5K/15K/22.5K etc). That said, if a car is rarely used it should still routinely get looked at by a service tech.

This post written with the best of intentions for all concerned:

S-R or whatever you call yourself:

Surely you must realise that you've reached the end of this particular road in your life?

Don't you understand that, no matter how many times you go along this road, you will never arrive anywhere other than this - a grim point where some people appear to actively loath you and where most - all! - really want you to go away?

In the nicest possible way, I'd like to suggest you to seek some professional help - you'll feel better for it!

and everyone else :

Please try to ignore this poor soul - he's no good for any of us and certainly no good for himself. Hopefully more and more 'ignoring' him will (fingers crossed) make him go away and look for the attention he so desperately craves elsewhere...

My wife works in our county council making sure that all kids here in Lancashire get the education they deserve, especially those who have a vast range of special needs outside the usual requirements of most children. This can involve coordinating the services for supplying a child with practically total 1-to-1 assistance during the times the child is at school (and often outside as well!) through to a little extra tuition for an otherwise bright and able child who might be struggling with reading or find speaking difficult sometimes.

Whoever S-R is, and whatever his education, he would obviously have been well and truly within thet area of being a child that required special educational measures - how else can his increasingly bizarre behaviour be explained?

Sometimes the best way to make irritating persons 'go away' is to just try and understand them... that way irritating persons are at least easier to live with if they don't just vanish or stop being quite so irritating of their own accord.

Here's hoping the lad has actually got the car and that he will be able to get his head sorted out - just as long as he doesn't use a wall or a big tree to do so via the windscreen of his Gallardo.

I stand by what I said - his various posts are cause for more than just minor concern for his health. If he can afford a Gallardo, he can afford the health care as well.
