You ever been thru a hedge backwards on a wet day??

I have to confess, I own a 390SE Wedge, and have never been near a Cerb (so im an armchair "expert" ), but I have heard from a couple of owners that they are somewhat diva-ish:

WICKEDLY fast, esp V8.
very nimble, but tend to let go in a hurry when they do(again, aparently)
engines can be tempramental if everythings not spot on.

Id have one but, and I'll be honest here, I cant afford one!

try the cerb section!!
IF you want a V8 then either 4.2 or 4.5 - it makes no odds for reliability. The key thing is to buy as good a car as possible. Later ones tend to have the better chassis (2001 +).

Drive them all, Cerbs, Griffs, Chims - whatever you can get your hands on. You will know which is right for you, whether you are or are not an experienced driver. You either get it or you don't, and if you do, I hope you have a deep wallet! hehe

Enjoy

They are all fast - the S6 aint far behind. Arguably faster on normal roads. I wouldnt call them 'very' nimble. They are quite a long wheel base. They handle well with the right dampers. The engines can need regular fettling to stay 'in tune'. They are less likely to go through a hedge backwards than most other TVRs unless you start to really give them stick.

Don't believe everything you hear, there are two sides to every story!

The Cerb' is a powerful, light, rear wheel drive car with no driver aids, so requires a degree of respect, give it that and you'll be fine.

If you're worried about 'stuffing' it, get on a driving course or do a couple of airfield days and find out what the limits are, don't behave like a muppet on the local round-a-bouts and you'll live to tell the tale.

Try all the cars andf find the one that's right for you, a 500 Chim/Griff is an awesome fast car but a completely differnt beast to a Cerb' you won't know which is right for you unless you try them.

Good hunting
