Sorry if it's already been mentioned somewhere but.....

What is the score with Hamiltons race suit?
When he gets out the car and stands next to Alonso it looks like they are wearing the same McLaren sponsors billboard race suit, but by the time they arrive at the press conference Hamilton looks like his mum has used far too much Persil and starch on his outfit. confused
It looks like it's made of card and all the logos are angled to be seem better than Alonso's.
Not a fan of McLaren at the best of times but this makes me laugh every time I see it, may Hamilton's run of podiums continue so it keeps me entertained through the race, especially if Alonso is up there as well to make it look even sillier. hehe

My mate and I were wondering that too, we assumed it was the lights at the press conference as alonsos one was a bit dingy looking compared to hamiltons

They have a race suit style jacket to wear in the press conferenace, so they display all the sponsors logos as well as possible.. Today Alonso was still in his race suit and only Lewis was in the very white jacket so looked pretty silly.

McLaren have a special 'jacket' that goes over the race suit when the drivers are at Press conferences.

You'll notice that all the sponsor logos face directly at the camera for best TV exposure. Must be very hot though - having a race suit AND a jacket over it...

I wonder whether Alonso has something in his contract that says he doesn't have to wear the "press conference" suit because thats the second time he's not worn it. Lewis always seems to, as have all the Mclaren drivers of recent times as far as I know.

He was wearing it at the start of the year, and for the about the first 5 or 6 races. Funnily enough, and I don't know whether it's just a coincidence, he stopped wearing it after Hamilton pulled out a big points lead in the WDC...

And don't forget that Alonso wasn't in the press conference for either France or Canada...

Another example of McLaren favoring Hamilton, he gets a saintly glow while Alonso plays the grubby spaniard.

I wondered whether it was an 'over' or a replacement. I thought it might be a 'jumper' and the race-suit was half peeled off but out of camera shot.

Yes but Alonso looked RIGHT not wearing the Stupid (Marketing tts) Suit. Looked liked he had just RACED for 1.7 hourswink Can't seem Kimi going for that shiite....
