Small firms looking for IT graduates
Discussion
I've just graduated from university in a Business/IT type degree, and achieved a good 2.1 degree. I've also got 300 UCAS points at A Level.
Currently I am looking for graduate positions and doing the whole applying/revising for tests process. I was wondering, does anyone on here own or know any small IT - or any - firms that require I.T. graduates in the London area? I don't mind being paid less as part of working for a small firm (e.g. £18k as oppossed to £22-26k) as long as there are no tests and I get practical experience working in a team. I do like the idea of working for a small firm where everyone knows each other though.
Any ideas?

The sounds very strange to me. As an employer, I wouldn't see taking a lower wage as a bargaining tool for something as fundemental as a techy test. Why do you want to avoid one?freddies_dad said:

To the person who offered to send some graduate info - that would be great, thanks.
Unfortunately working in Prague is not practical.
I am interested in Web development/database design work, but I can and have done a wide range of projects from logo design to Director movies. I know C#, VB.NET, UML, ASP.NET. However, I am not an expert in any of these skills - thus I constantly practise them by reading books, playing about, making stuff, etc. I have made various systems - ecommerce website, Project Management App (personal use only), etc.

Have a look at New Media Age Top 100 Media Agencies. Most are based in London and will emply graduates. You will be working more as a developer than on a "graduate scheme", but the culture is great and if you work for one of the bigger ones you'll get some great URLs to go on your CV.
