Best Glass Cleaner?
Discussion
I bought some RainX the other day - and found they also have a glass cleaner too. It's quite a creamy liquid which you put on with a cloth and then wipe off with a damp cloth and then dry with paper or cloth. I was amazed at just how clean and shiny it got the windscreen. Doing the regular RainX application after the clean got an incredible result. A small shower of rain coming home last night just beaded up with windscreen with the air current.

What is the water like in your area? Hard or soft?
Where I live, it's particularly hard (you can tell by the white spots that I get if I allow water from the hose to dry on the paint.)
I recently worked out that the reason that my windows were so hard to clean was that they were covered in these calcium deposits!
Normal rain water is soft so it should dissolve these over time but if you have a buiild up, a quick wipe with Viakal or similar sorts it out. I use Autoglym glass cleaner which is reasonably good so long as you keep it off the rubbers and use a clean cloth. Scrumpled up newspaper is also quite good to finish off with.
