Will all the accidents around Jn 3 the police seem to be getting a bit keen. 3 times in the last week there has been either a camera van of trafpol on the bridge just before the junction as you start to drop down the hill.

I saw that one yesterday -- car upside down with a caravan next to it trying not to look too guilty...

Funnily enough, I rode past it today - it's an ANPR van.

Thankfully.

Thankfully Thames Valley 'Safer Roads' do not yet target the motorway network. So it can only be ANPR or Trafpol, and not a Talivan.

However TV'SR' are considering the option of gunning us on the motorway after Wiltshire demonstrated how much money could be made...

Are these the little tripod-mounted devices I've seen a couple of times recently between Js 1&2? One for each lane with police transit parked on the bridge by them.

Any idea what their range is? They seem angled well downwards so my guess would be quite close.

Also any idea what their tolerance would be over limit again assuming they are speed devices)

Thanks

John

Hmmm, there goes my early morning speed trials on the way home then!
Specs on motorways - Blatant profiteering unless they're at roadworks IMO.
