Gallardo sans cats

Rather than put a Tubi on my Gallardo, I was thinking about decat only. Unfashionably, I quite like the stock exhaust but would quite like a few more flames (childish, I know).

Has anyone gone for this option? If so is it much louder?

Lamboandy went for Tubi with de-cat pipes and there were a few videos of the car knocking around.
It sounded in a word, fantastic! Flames and one hell of a noise!
I'm sure he'll be along to advise (and also call you a girl for not going for the Tubi as well )

It's a December 04, apparently there are a few flames even as standard, but I really don't want a Tubi as well as de-cat..

GIRL!!! Sorry couldn't resist that. I'd be very surprised if you get any flamage out of a standard 04. the 06 model only just manage a blue whisp not even a full flame.
You have to go for the full effect.
