I'd actually quite like your nickname in my garage. But apart from that I can't really complain with mine, only addition besides a 996SPS would probably be an MV F4 1000R.

Rainey's 91 YZR 500 Grand Prix bike, Haga's World Superbike R7, Rossi's 07 Moto gp bike and one of Bazza's 500's, Foggy's 1994 916 Duke. Would also like a FS1E, too relive my youth.

I know the Britten was used at the TT, but who rode it and from what I remember did someone not get killed riding it?

Your right, Mark Farmer was sadly killed in a practice crash, Nick Jefferies rode the other one.

Yep you where right, just done a search on google. Put in TT racer Mark Farmer also took looked at an entry list of the F1 Championship of 1991, had Jamie Whit, John Reynolds etc and Simon Beck who also passed away at the TT.

Busamav,

It was "only" 211 mph.

The definitive list is here: http://www.750turbo.com/fastones.htm

Not that it really matters, 211 mph from 810cc is still pretty impressive!

sorry, exagerating again biggrin

I saw that run too, i was the starter that day.

Lorc was a regular in the 200 + runs . When he went 211 he didnt want to ride it again that day as there was a dyno shoot out the following day .

I suspect there isnt a soul on earth who knows more about those bikes than the pastie muncher

Busamav,

You obviously know the guy too well!

Whilst we're on the dream garage thing, I would add this to my list:
