tried every dealer in and around leicester and the midlands for a service recall and some warranty work and no one can do it ! what kind of bleeding carry on is this as getting pissed of with this now as all said and done its nothing major to perform work on and dont want the round trip down to greens for a few hours of work , so looks like its going on the classifieds as well pissed off now . so if any one wanting a 500 with all the toys can have it and vauxhall can stick it

It is so annoying that main dealers cannot touch the car - at least VX won't pay them for it. WhenI bought the car I actually phoned VX to complain - got me nowhere, for a 'Premium' brand it is not very well supported.
That said the specialists know what they are doing and based on the VMAX run the cars are almost in supercar performance territory and would you trust a tech who spends most of the time on a nova with your 500?
Would not be a bad idea to have a VX central tech who visits theparts of the country that is not well covered in a van with all the bits.

Grose's of Northampton did the recall on mine in March this year (seat straps). They have the new VXR8 on display, so I can't see why they cant do yours.
Having said that,I did have problems gettin the warranty work done on my first car after Roger @ Monkfish serviced it.I spoke to a Mrs Joanne Taylor at Vauxhall, I understand that she is the P.A. to one of their directors. She was great, and soon whipped them into shape. I've looked for her phone number, but seem to have lost it, but if all else fails try to contact her
Real last resort is bring your car round my house, and I'll look after it! L.O.L.

Ah..its you. I spotted you in between Rothley & Cropston a month or so ago.What a fantastic noise!!
